Notes:
d1t01: Played over PA. Volume levels adjusted.
d1t03: Minor nearby audience singing is present at times.
d1t04: Static and volume changes at beginning. After song, Bruce thanks people
that have come from Mexico.
d1t05: Before the song, Bruce asks is people would not throw stuff on the stage.
d1t07: Bruce says band has been going for 25 years. He mentions the new album
Dance of Death coming in September.
He says if you want to record the new song and share it on the internet it is
cool with them.
Bruce talks about the recording industry and why they don't like downloading is
because of the bad music with bands that have one hit song and then you don't
here about them for two years and they only care about money.
Iron Maiden is here because of the fans, not because they are clever or good
looking.
He says a no thank you to radio in the US for not playing their songs, to video
tv channels or to corporate sponsors.
d1t10: Bruce says when they play through the States, people come to the show and
wonder what these new songs are because the last album they bought was Piece Of
Mind. They don't care about these people because they are not true fans.
The song is dedicated to the true fans. It is about medieval Scotland and the
struggle for freedom, about William Wallace, Braveheart. Mic adjustment during
Bruce's speech.
d2t01: Bruce starts talking at 06:50. Bruce asks what time the bars close and
says 2AM in a surprised voice.
He says they should get a move on because they are losing valuable drinking
time. Thanks crowd and introduces band.
d2t03: Song begins 29 seconds in because Bruce asks a man in green on the floor
(which he is) to move to allow people to move around.
